In Summer 2023, I decided I wanted to experiment with digital painting since it was one of the areas of digital art I hadn’t spent much time working with. I’d done a previous illustration that featured digital painting, but the focus of that was more on creating an interesting visual than delving into a new style. I decided a fun way to practice would be doing small paintings of friends pets as gifts to them, and have been continuing to do more paintings as time’s gone on.
